Someone just told me that all Walmarts nation-wide will stop stocking guns and ammunition. I haven't heard a damn thing about it, and I got to Walmart just about every weekend. From the looks of the Sports area, they are still stocking Guns and Ammunition. What are those boxes with calibers listed on them and those long metal sticks in the case, then?

This rumor goes around about once a month. Unless things have changed, some stores have, or will, quit selling guns and maybe ammo but others will continue sales. It seems to be a matter of profitability.

Oak RIdge Wallmart had better keep going. It'd the only place left with an FFL around me. Since our last pawn shop moved a month or two ago.

I talked to the sporting goods guy at my Wal-Mart about this. He said that only certian Super Wal-Marts will sell weapons. That they've been dinged to many times on employees not following the rules and botching the paper work. Every Wal-Mart will still sell ammo. There are no plans to stop selling ammo.
