Well, after 15 months I'm employed! It's been a tough year. Circumstances brought me to this great state one year ago this month (almost to the day!). During the summer I met some nice people at the local marina. Over the winter they bought a local market/restraunt/gas station. After many months of reconstruction they're ready to open, and I now have a full time job.

Now for the plug. You knew it was comming...

If you're in Mid-Tn. around Hwy 85 and looking for a nice meal and some live music, stop by. Right between Carthage and Red Boiling Springs. Belive me, it's the only wide spot in the road for 30 miles. You can't miss it.

It's the "Pleasant Shade Restraunt and Market" in Pleasant Shade.

Pleasant Shade is midway between Carthage and Red Boiling Springs.

It's on Rt. 85 about 7 miles North of the Rt. 80/Rt 85 intersection just outside Carthage.

We've got gas and diesel, open breakfast through dinner 7 days a week.

If your on a cruise when the weather gets nice, stop in.

The official opening is next Fri. the 20th.
