Why do kamikaze pilots wear helmets?

What does PU stand for (as in "PU, that stinks!")?

If ya have one, let us know so we can attempt to answer it!

Q: Why do Kamikaze pilots wear helmets?

A: For communication and pre killing them selves safety.

What does PU stand for?

Depending on who you ask, it has several "beginings". It is believed to have come from either

1. The French term "peur" which means "to stink" thus P.U. is a shortened expression to say that you stink.

2. It's a shortened term for puteo, which is Latin for "to stink, be redolent, or smell bad."

3. It's actually spelled "pew," but is often pronounced as "pee-yew". It's root is the Indo-European word "pu," meaning to rot or decay.

Don't you have Google? :stalk:

Why is there braille on drive up ATMs?

The occupant in the rear seat, behind the driver, quite possibly could be blind, just my theory...but, will it stand up to the scrutiny here? :2cents:

Just a guess on the Braile, but is it because there is no such thing as a drive up ATM, it is the same machine, and therefore whether drive up or walk up it has Braile?

Or maybe the ADA requires it?

Or doesn't anyone know the answer? Is there an answer.

I think these are more ponderables than un-answerables. just something to make you go, "Huh?"

As far as the ATMs go, it is because all the parts are the same whether they are drive-up or walk-up.

I'll go with that. When they are made, they don't know they're going to be drive up or walk up, so they use the same process for both.
