How do you carry with rail mounted light/laser?

How do you carry your pistol that has a tactical light and laser combo mounted on the front rail?

I have a PX4 and I don't see any practical holster for it. Is it that its only good as a nightstand gun or under the car seat?

Any ideas?

I wouldn't. I would use a Crimson Trace Grip laser 1.There is a very limited selection of holsters for rail lights 2. That adds an awful lot of weight to a carry piece. I would opt for a small high power lithium powered light w/a belt clip like a surefire and use the gun over light under method if you ever needed a light.

I have heard of custom holster makers making holsters to fit guns with lights but not light/lasers like the surefire x400 or similar

I carry my m&p 9 with a streamlight tlr-1 in a raven concealment holster no problems. It adds minimal weight and ensures I have a primary light on my pistol if I need it.

I have a surefire x-300 for my g19. I purchased a Galco Halo holster for it, but I never carry that set-up. The light is mainly attached at night for use if I can't reach my spx or ar-15. While carrying I take along my surefire defender. The defender clips to my pants pocket the same as my knife.

I said I never heard of someone carrying with one mounted, not that I've never heard of someone mounting a light on one. I really don't see the need to have a light or a fancy laser on your carry weapon, but to each there own. I guess having one on your nightstand gun or whatever makes a bit more sense.

Raven concealment will make you a holster that will fit the pistol with the light attached.

No offense intended, but I think a light on your carry gun becomes a target as soon as you turn it on.

You might try one of the places that sell police tactical gear.

Only time i put the light or laser on mine is at night for the nightstand defense. Other than that I carry without it.
