How About a Terra Cotta House!

Recommended Posts

I saw this place form a distance, and popped over there to see what it was. Turns out it is a terra cotta home a guy was building. I asked him if I could wander around, and he said I could (for $2). :)

Pretty fascinating. I felt like I was on a set at some Disney movie:

That's a pretty cool looking house...guy must have some imagination, to have come up with that idea.

Was it in Tennessee?

I think of Luke Skywalker's house, somehow.

I was thinking how easy it would break!!

Fred Flinstone could live there. That "chimney" looks a little...strange.

Wow. That is EXACTLY what I was thinking. One of the pictures even looks like the room where C-3P0 takes a "bath."

That is crazy. All I can think about is the flower pots that I've accidentally kicked over the years and broken. You've got to appreciate the guy's vision. I'd have given him the $2, too.

A van full of $2 visitors would pay off the house.

I wonder if he got a bank loan to build it?

I wonder how he fired the terracotta... 'cause if he didn't, I'd expect his house to melt the first time it rained.
