Fall guy... the misinformation has not been corrected, the post is still there and needs to be removed.

But, that is jmho.

The misinformation has been corrected by a few educated comments. No need to start changing the past or "editing" threads.

You do know, don't you, that is's not that simple to say somebody can't carry a weapon where alcohol is being served. :tinfoil:

Irrelevant really. The correct info has been posted several times in this thread.

OK, stand corrected on the posting 'bout bigs comment, but the way the web operates (unfortunately) is people read what they want to see. Having a shred of totally wrong info on a site, is like a sitting duck...waiting for someone to see it an say "Wow TGO says you can carry where liquor is sold". Misinformation, though an innocent mistake, can cause a lot of problems.

and Ggun...it is that simple, you cannot carry (legally, at the time of this writing) in TN where alcohol is being served, unless the courts have ruled differently very recently.

If anything, a responsible permit holder must be familiar with AND follow the laws as they are. Otherwise, they leave the rest of us to the anti sharks.

The original poster had a legitimate question which needed a correct answer with no bs involved. Seems to have gotten the needed info thanks to the rest of the guys here.
