Here's the scoop...the 327 was designed to allow more capacity.

So Take any of those 357 loads and figure up the energy

--Multiply that number by 5

Now take the 327 loads and do the same

--multiply this number by 6

This is why the 327 was being pushed as a SD improvement. The chambering is in a whole new realm as a long barrel or single action cartridge.
