Does anybody else have a Remington Mohawk 10C (possibly IOC)? Its a detachable box magazine version of the Remington Nylon 66. It has "77" on the magazine body. .22LR semi-auto rifle

Im having problems with the magazine falling out. You can load up the magazine and chamber a round just fine but when you fire it, the magazine falls out. And it will do it every time. It fires and ejects just fine and will also feed the first round just fine. There is a small "lever" I guess you would call it, directly behind the mag-well. It holds the mag in the mag-well and you push back on it to release the magazine. With everything unloaded and clear and safe, I can pull the mag out without touching the lever without much force. Is there a spring connected to the "lever"?

Any help is much appreciated, as of right now it is a single shot.
