I think I just may have **** my pants. I have only known one Great Dane in my lifetime and it was a MEAN mother! I would want to have alot more than a .45 to protect myself if THAT was chasing me....DAYUM!!!

My niece had one and it liked to sit on the couch with its front feet on the floor. At six months old and standing on all fours its back was above my waist and I stand 5' 11".

It was just a big baby and loved people.

The article says the dane eats 110 lbs. of food a month. That dog must leave some huge poop.gif in their yard!

Mabe not photoshopped, but definitely some camera trickery. Look at the way the guy's feet appear in relation to the rest of his body, I would venture to guess a fish eye or at least a very wide angle lens was used to make the Dane appear even larger than he actually is. Also the way the man is leaned back creates a forced perspective where. He is smaller than objects in the foreground much like the use of a forced perspective in some movies to make people to appear to be giants or tiny in relation to others.

Looks fake to me, and I've seen it before on the net. Others thought it was fake also. Snopes has an agenda but I don't think it extends to dogs. Maybe someone who cares will check.

I don't know. First pic screams FAKE but if you look at the article why in the world would anyone, to get their 15 minutes of fame, alter that many pics and then claim to have the Guinness people involved. I do think that first one was shot offset to make it appear bigger, but I think the one with bowser standing in the cab of that truck is the most natural looking.

All I know is I WOULD NOT want to pay the feeding bill on him for a month, lol. You think your gun/ammo budget looks bad right now, just add "200 lb's" of dog food to the list every month

The sad part is if he is that big I bet his life expectancy is probably much lower than a normal dane. Kinda like 2 legged giants and the worlds tallest man.

At 1:36 and 1:47 on the top video, you can see that he's so big he has to change course like a big ship.
