Shot a suppressed 9mm SBR AR

YEP! Was at the range and I saw a cool looking AR (painted winter digital camo). Upon further inspection, it was an SBR and looked great. The guy offered to let me shoot it and I took him up on it. Thats when I saw the suppressor and the 9mm mags. TOO COOL. He let me shoot it with the suppressor on it and now Im hooked. I am now planning to build a suppressed SBR this year. I can't wait to get started.

I was at an indoor range with lots of people but the sound reminded me of my .22 (a little louder) and I dont know the weights but they were TN Cartridge Company reloads. He was telling me that the gun is hearing safe with heavier subsonic bullets. His suppressor was a YHM but I don't know what model.

from what little I heard, 9mm subsonic will be 147 grain, not a common weeight though, usually u find 115 or 124 grain. I kn ow someone with a 22 gemtech supressor, and I was curious the difference between super and subsonic ammo, so he loaded a mag for his 10/22 with a short barrel sectionthe rest shroud to meet the minimum length, he load every other round subsonic and super sonic so that I could tell the difference. the subsonic made no noise coming out the barrel, just hitting the steel target, the super sonic made sound coming out the barrel
