There was a P245 offered in nickel / custom shop they I think they were a run of 75 guns. Each one is numbered and has paperwork to match. It could also be just a factory nickel, I have seen those sell for 700 to 800 with all paperwork. It may be an aftermarket finish, which could add or subtract from the value depending on the finish.

Good Luck

It is just a compact 220, which I think has proven itself over the years. Get it!

I may be wrong, but I do not think that model came in stainless (silver). I think it was black or nickel. The P245 is a German made Sig, and do have a following. Not to long ago several were imported into the U.S., They were NIB and sold out rather quickly.

I have pics of it on the cell phone, but not on here. I am thinking of trading a browning x bolt medallion with extras... Good trade or hold out?

You need to get a pic of the label on the box. That will tell you what it is (finish wise). What color is the box, that also tells alot about the gun. Does it have the mannual and test target, that can add value.

If I wasnt pleased with the gun, how hard would it be to trade? It is a stainless P245 with all factory stuff and in 98% plus. I might not be able to get used to the grip width/size.

The X Bolt is about a 800$ Gun? used?

The P245 is around 600$-700$ so worth it? That is up to you.

The grip is a bit wide. It is a nice size gun though. By Sigs word it is a compact. Easy take down. Plenty of parts out there for it. Mine has shot very well. Almost the same as the P220 Compact in size and weight.

I have one. Mine is a stainless two tone, and is a great gun. It is the same gun as the 220 compact.

I owned a P245 and of all the Sigs I've owned it was the only disapointing of all of them I bought. IMHO, it was wide, and short? I couldnt get my pinky on the mag well, I also couldnt hit a target with it so I sold it. I might someday buy another one since a friend owns one and never shoots it but the Sig in .45 I really want is a new P220 stainless elite!!!! Someday I'll own one!!!! COOP

That's funny, I just remembered who I sold it to. Glad your enjoying the P245, was probably just me and my hand to fit? Probably own another one some day and try putting the P220 carry extension on it... COOP
