If you don't reload (can't reload steel cased ammo AFAIK) and it runs in your rifle than its decent target ammo. I know that at least a few manufacturers recomend only brass cased ammo. It won't damage anything, it may just have problems feeding and ejecting.

We have yet to have someone show up to a Defensive Carbine class with an AR / Wolf combo and make it through without serious malfunction issues.

When I buy 5.56/.223 practice ammo, I get Brown Bear. Thousands of rounds so far (in multiple ARs) with zero issues.

I use .223 steel cased ammo, just not Wolf.

Better ammo...much better deal. Compared to this, you got screwed. :)

Cleaning after using Wolf ammo is a pain. It leaves a red residue that's unique to their rounds.(?) I beleive it has to do with sealing the primer. Anyways, I use them for volume plinking and not much else.

Not with shipping, but as mentioned, shipping is reasonable.

Where I buy ammo...

www.aimsurplus.com

www.ammunitiontogo.com

www.copesdistributing.net (usually, $7.95 shipping flat rate)

Hard to beat these three for pricing and service. And, if out of someting in particular, they are constantly getting more in.
