Retired? Nope. I just sort'a quit.

Didn't really want to work for the guy that won the Sheriff's election that year, and had a couple of other things going on that needed tending to, so... I hung up my badge.

( I still have both the badge and the commission card, but the guy who signed it has been dead now for a year or two. )
