Hello. I knew you rifle guys couldn't help but to come in, look at what I have and help me value it. I am considering selling my Remington 700 VSSF 22-250. I have looked around and don't feel confident in pricing it so I need your wisdom. The gun is 99.99% and does not come with the scope or mounts. Any and all input will be greatly appreciated. I don't want to overprice the gun and I don't want to give it away either.

This gun sells on Buds for $1059 but it is the VSSF II (the lastest model).

Since you're a Benefactor, why not post it for sale with an asking price in the Classifieds and see what kind of response you get?

I have done the usual internet research but did not feel confident with my results. I just did not want to overprice the gun or let someone take me to the cleaners. Sorry for the post ..........although I didn't break any rule..............I am now aware Mods frown on this and anyone that reads this will be aware as well..............I will take one for the team this time .

If you really wanted to take one for the team, you'd remove the firearms from your avatar. They are blocking my view.

Generally speaking a new gun drops 20-25% as it leaves the store. That being a said, a quick look at GB completed auctions shows completed sales from $640 to $955 (that latter being NIB), and VSSF II's going from $770 to $925 (again the latter being NIB). I suspect yours will fall in the $750-850 range

 Good one..........I need to update that Avatar since I no longer have the Kimber. I don't know if I can talk my wife into another one :D.

Check recent sales on a well known broker of guns website. I'd say $900-$1000.

Thanks.......I need to sign up......can't see the recent actual sale prices.
