Maybe 2"-3" here in Oak Ridge and it is starting to stick to the pavement. The parking lot in front of my apartments is white.

no sooner than my last post a tree fell across the road in front of my house and took the power lines with it. happy to say that mine is the only house without power.

A strong 4" here on Signal Mountain. I don't think I've seen this much snow in recent years. I cussed it all the way home, but it's actually quite nice.

never heard of sarcasm?

I have. Sometimes it doesn't come across well when it's read and not heard. I just thought maybe you had a thing for generator exhaust.

The snow has really started coming down again. I think it's faaling harder than it has all day. Still has some sleet mixed in.

That's excellent news. Hope it keeps up all the way to Knoxville.

Well I shoveled off the front porch at around 3pm today. Just went out there and you could not see where I had cleaned it the first time. I got about 6 inches on a table on my front porch, and yes I shoveled off the porch again, trying to keep it from being tracked into the house. My wife would kill me.

We've got about 4+ inches on the ground in S. Nashville. There's a nice light drizzle of freezing rain coming down now, so the roads are going to be an ice rink tomorrow...

Started around 3:00 PM in West Knoxville, Loudon County.

Maybe an inch OTG. 32 degrees. No big deal at this time, as long as no one slides into a power pole or a transmission line doen't trip some distance relays and black out the SE we are good to go. Beer, propane and movies laid in. Fat Tire and snow. Nice.

Fourish inches in Greenbrier at the moment - which is strange. Usually all the snow doesnt fall up here on the ridge. It is snowing & sleeting at the moment, and my dogs wont even go to the door to let us know they have to go pee haha.

Half our staff have called out of work tomorrow. Saturday is gonna be a fun day :koolaid:.
