I've actually had good success with tape.... masking tape. loop it so the sticky side is out and place this cat traps up under the branches. Introduce your cat to this new device by sticking a ball of tape (sticky side out), on all her paws, tall, ends of her ears, nose.... This was how we trained our daughter's cat for everything from jumping on the counter to scratching the sofa.... Introducing the cat to the product is really not needed, but entertaining...

second thought, whatever happened to the old gunny sack off the bridge?

I really think Cats hold grudges. "You leave me home alone for 2 weeks, Im dumping in you living room."

The Hostage

DAY 752

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from ruining the occasional piece of furniture. Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant.

DAY 761

Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded, must try this at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair...must try this on their bed.

DAY 762

Slept all day so that I could annoy my captors with sleep depriving, incessant pleas for food at ungodly hours of the night.

DAY 765

Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body, in attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts. They only cooed and condescended about what a good little cat I was...Hmmm. Not working according to plan ......

DAY 768

I am finally aware of how sadistic they are. For no good reason I was chosen for the water torture. This time however it included a burning foamy chemical called "shampoo." What sick minds could invent such a liquid. My only consolation is the piece of thumb still stuck between my teeth.

DAY 771

There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary throughout the event. However, I could hear the noise and smell the foul odor of the glass tubes they call "beer." More importantly I overheard that my confinement was due to MY power of "allergies." Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage.

DAY 774

I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously a half-wit. The Bird on the other hand has got to be an informant. He has mastered their frightful tongue (something akin to mole speak) and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room his safety is assured. But I can wait, it is only a matter of time.

I was a tractor supply and saw an aerosol can with motion sensor which would shoot a blast of air if tripped, next to it in the same isle was an electric pad.... I'm thinking replace the compressed air can with a can of butane and set it next to a candle? set up a fence around the tree with the flamethrower set just inside the only open portion of the fence you have constructed..... foooooom!

When I want my cat to say out of a certain area I will put the vacuum cleaner ext. tube where he is not suppose to be, he is scared of that thing. If I lay it down beside him and finally see's it he will jump 2 feet in the air. When hold out to him he will take his paw and whack it a few times. When my wife vacuums he will run around the corner to hide from it but he will watch and then when you turn it off he take his front paw and whack it a few times. I guess I should not have tried to vacuum him when he was a kitten. :D

See you soon? :D

I ended up buying some "Boundary" cat repellent spray from the pet store last night. I've sprayed the tree, tree skirt, ornaments, etc. down with the repellent so I guess today will be the test. If I go home and the tree is dismantled again, I'll be calling Frank for one of his Reduced Noise Feline Annoyance Eradication Devices.

Please give a full report. Interested to see how this stuff works, I hate cat prints on my Jeep and it is starting to get cold (not today but soon) and they (neighborhood cats) love to get on my hood when I get home. I hate cat prints.

I don't think that I would ever spray something like that on my vehicles. But I'm a huge stickler when it comes to detailing my cars too.

Not on, but around, make a barrier of some sort. Yes, I'm that way as well. Or I could just spray the cat......that would be funny:D

I just had a visual of a cat trying to get away from himself...looking like the Tasmanian Devil

I like the Tesla Coil idea myself. :slapfight: Not because it would keep the cat away but just because Tesla Coils are just cool. Tesla was da'man! (ok, so he was a little nuts, but I like my power plants miles away instead of feet away.)

This is Harley. He likes visiting new places and making new friends. I could send him over if you like. He loves cats.... says they taste like chicken.
