It will probably pass North again last it did last time :bowrofl: but if it doesn't, I'll be fine with it. I love the snow :bowrofl:

I have a real nice one from when I lived up North. I have never needed it since living in TN for snow. It makes a great dust pan when working out in the yard or garage though.

It looks like I will be out of the "danger zone" again with this next round of white stuff. :bowrofl:

Maybe not. It seems that the further south you are, the more likely you are to see freezing rain, and have to suffer the consequences of that.

Having lived through that ice storm, way back in '93, I'd rather take my chances with a foot or so of snow before I would an inch or two of ice all over everything again.

+1 to that. It was a disaster. I can handle any amount of snow but the ice is another story all together. The powere outages alone make it a dangerous situation.

I used to live up north and I'm fine with us having snow or ice. Either way, I'll still be driving to and from work with my rear wheel drive only Grand Cherokee. Maybe I'll get to do some doughnuts.

Maybe we'll all get to stay home and eat donuts!

:bowrofl: Must buy lots of toilet paper! I don't want a soiled corpse lying around here in case the ZOMBIES come lookin' for food. Zombies have to eat too, ya know?!

What do you guys think Zombie meat tastes like?

Nothing good, I'm sure.

If we got the kind of ice storm we had back 18 years ago, you wouldn't be going anywhere, unless you were in a tracked vehicle of some kind, that could drive over the downed trees and utility poles.

I didn't get any pictures of it, but this place literally looked like a bombed-out war zone. You could pull out of my driveway, turn left, and go about 50 yards to the next driveway. That was it. The rest of the road was pretty much a "cut-your-own" lumber yard, all the way to the highways, in both directions.

Oh, and power was out here for a week too.

Don't spoil it for me.... I have visions of sunshine! :bowrofl: :bowrofl:

I agree, snow is better than ice any day.

I'm not trying to spoil it for ya, but you'd still better be sure to lay in a good supply of bread, milk, toilet paper.... and booze. Just in case. ;)

Given that I drink bourbon, I'd prefer a barrel to a case. :bowrofl:

Hmmm ... now where do we buy it like that?! :bowrofl:

I'll probably make a beer run tonight. I'll be working from home just so I don't have to drive in it with the "I got a 4 wheel drive so the laws of physics no longer apply to me" set.

Y'know, it's funny you should mention that... 'cause if you draw a line straight from where Jim Beam is made, to where Jack Daniels is made, my house is almost exactly on the middle of that line. :bowrofl:

Yeah, but can you buy direct, or do we need to start designing a plan right now to infiltrate?
