my favorite deer rifle to hunt with right now is my remingon 700 buckmaster 30 06 with nikon buckmaster scope! the gun shoots great but the trigger pull was awful! 7lbs of awful trigger pull! i have never felt a remington that had such a bad trigger but still would shoot 1inch group. anyway, my buddy just took it and did a trigger job on it and wow!! what a difference it makes! is adjusted to 2lbs 8-10 ounce! it feels awesome! i can't believe what a big difference that made in the gun, i can't wait to shoot it! thanks glockster157!!!!

I want a 700 30-06 that's my next purchase unless some great deal on something else comes up. I have a 710 and it's OK but I really want a 700.

A trigger job is a must on deer rifles. I have a Savage 10FP accutrigger 50mm Leopold scope luv it wanted a 700 but i wouldn't trade my for one now. don't get me wrong there good guns
