Hurt Locker - Anyone Seen?

I'm hearing how this is really a good war movie. Anyone seen it? Comments?

Got it at the local Redbox for 99 cents. I would say that it's less than you're expecting, but it's a cool ride anyway. I'll only say that it's mostly about one badass bomb tech that's unarmed A LOT of IEDs. They don't spend as much in the war department here. Katheryn Bigelow knows men better than most women, and that's why her movies like Point Break connect with us.

It was decent, but I wasn't that big of a fan.

I would put it in the same realm as "Jarhead" as far as being a war movie. I also think Jarhead was a much better flick.

Well I liked it other than a few far fetched scenes. Wasn't political which is good. Started out slow but picked up, had a few drag outs it could have done without.

Wasn't what I expected, but still good. I recommend it for a popcorn muncher. I don't see myself wanting to see it again & again like Blackhawk Down.

And DO NOT use this movie on date night. It will not get her "in the mood."

I thought it was way way better then Jarhead...that movie was just really anti-climatic....I liked it so much I bought it on Blu-Ray....one of the explosions actually overloaded my Reciever lol. Its not as much action over and over like Blackhawk Down, but I think it is more suspenseful and intense.
