Gun Range in Chattanooga

I read an earlier set of posts that did not have much good to say about Chattanooga ranges.

I am going to be in Chattanooga for a couple of days the first of February. I am looking for an indoor range that does not require membership. If you know of one and their hours of operation, I would appreciate it.

I would like something close to Signal Mtn as that is where I will be, so something there or in Red Bank would be preferable. Never hurts to ask.

I would like to find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. I think my odds are better than you finding what you are looking for.

seriously, there are only a couple of indoor ranges in chattanooga, none that I know of near red bank. They both require some sort of membership.

Prentice cooper isn't too far from there, it's outdoors, but it's free. Just gotta be wary of the meth heads if they are trying to pick up brass :tough:

This supports my theory that a range and or gunstore would be a success on signal. So anybody that wants to go into business together shoot me a pm. If you build it they will come.

That is what I was afraid of. Are the meth heads considered targets? I need some practice on moving targets.:D

There aint one. You are sol unless you want to pay a membership.

Sportsmans is just over the hill from Red Bank(prolly 10-15 minutes from RB).

Doubt he'd let anybody just shoot without a membership, though.

Appreciate the feedback everyone. The same goes here in Morristown and Jefferson City. No ranges to shoot at. I sure wish I had the money to open a range and gun shop.

They dont it is 150 for an annual membership initially and then 100 dollar renewal every year after that.

No offense but I have always hated morristown. Especially more so now than ever for various reasons.

I'd really just go to PC its free and yes I've really seen a guy and his girlfriend picking up brass up there with no ear plugs. I hate to pass judgment on the fellow but I can tell you he wasn't a reloader of bullets thats for sure. Prentice Cooper is pretty nice and not real busy on weekdays. Doh just saw you are wanting a indoor range.
