Just got a Glock 26

Traded my Bro n Law last night for a Glock 26 ( with 6 boxes of shells, 2 mags( one extended) and all original box paperwork etc)

straight up trade , NO $$$$$ :-)

he really wanted the Rossi 2'' barrell .357 cal that is visible in my avatar pic

man... my sister married a smart one!!!! LOL

This is my first Glock...? any feedback or concerns I should know about?

Shame on you !!!!! You should be arrested !!! A Rossi for a Glock ? Sounds like my "BIL" , we call him "Hammer Head", he thinks it's a complement, that he's "tough". When actually ,someone named him that, cause he's dumber than a bag of hammers":lol:

If you're like me, you will really like the Glock. I avoided buying one for a long time, but I've carried it constantly since gettin it. Its just so darn utilitarian that its hard to beat!

You will be spoiled by its reliability, easy cleaning, and ability to take abuse. I have a few different pistols, but the Glock 9mm in general has not given me any issues.

Good move. G26 is a good gun. May want to consider Pearce mag (pinky) extension to get a couple more rounds. I shoot mine about the same either way.

Congrats on the trade! Wish I had a brother in law I could trade guns with like that. Love my 26 it is my edc. I would recommend a good IWB holster.

Someone beat me to the punch, but I will say it anyway. Shame on you! Don't you fell like a thief? Seriously, I own the g19,g26, and g36 and I could not be happier. I can grab any of the three and have absolute confidence in their reliability.

I have a g26 that I carry often and it's 100% reliable. It's about the same size and weight as the Rossi. With the right ammo you are approaching the ballistics of the 357 mag in a short barrel. But you have 11 or 13 rounds on board. It's a great CCW piece.
