brass hounds

I think I joined the ranks of the brass hounds this weekend. Home was less than steller, so I drove 10 miles one way to pick up brass at a local outdoor range. Got pretty good results, about 155- .40 cal, 350- 9mm, and 200-.45acp. I actually only own the .45acp, but have friends with the other two cal. Besides nothing like the feeling as you pull brass out of your tumbler you scored free. Also went through trash retreaving plastic shell holders.

So is there a 12 step program for me??

I do not reload, but I think the only step program you need is however many steps there are to reload. I am thinking about a 6 or 7 step program. You can call it the abriviated12 step program.

Actually you get good citizen points..

you are a RECYCLER :death:

I pick anything up that's reloadable even if I don't have that cal. someday I will trade for something I can use...

I have traded brass for :

a camelback

a good hunting knife

a set of shotgun choke tubes

projectiles

a holster

bartering is symbiotic to reloading I think

Glad to know i'm not alone. :D

Recycling.... So does that make me one of the dirt people?:death:

I guess I will be sort of trading, the two people who want me to load .40 and 9mm for them are paying for the dies, powder, primers, and bullets. I'll get to keep the dies out of the deal. i'm single stage definetly 6-7 steps
