Need some Shotgun Info

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I have found 2 shotguns. First is a Ted Williams M200/Winchester 1200, looks like it is in pretty good shape.. Second has no markings that I can find just a serial number and the outside of the barrel is pitted w/with rust spots Inside the barrel looks find and it will pump.

I need a shotgun expert or repairman that can tell me if these are worth keeping so I can use them for Home defense. Any recommendations?

anybody recognize this marking?

Far from an expert here, but a pump shotgun with absolutely NO markings?

Used magnifying glass/loupe? Maybe need to use some Hoppes with Scotch Brite pad or similar and look closely again?

Of course the Ted Williams you can google for a good bit of info right off.

Unless you see something obviously wrong with it, don't see why it wouldn't be fine to use for whatever.

Make sure you only use whatever length shells it's chambered for, likely only 2.75", but I don't know that right off the bat.

Only markings are a serial number. No manufacturer, model # or doesn't say what gauge.

Thanks for the reply
