Need a recommendation

Mods, feel free to move if this is not in the right forum. I have a muzzleloader that was handmade by Frank Bartlett. I need to sell it, the problem is I am looking for an appraiser. Bartlett muzzle loaders and rifles have been priced anywhere from $5000 to $20000. I need a recommendation for an honest appraiser. On the most part, gun dealers are some of the most honest people I have ever done business with but I am new to Nashville and do not know any here. I am also looking to but a Taurus 38 special and a Russian SKS on consignment, after they sell purchase a really nice 9 mm, an honest dealer to assist with that transaction would be nice as well. Thanks in advance for all of your suggestions.

Just a suggestion - try a google search for insurance appraisers in the Nashville area.

No need to place your weapons on consignment. Pay for benefactor status and sell them here. You'll sell them quicker and get more money. That $35.00 will save you much more.

There are 2 place in nashville I would suggest you talk with when it comes to high end guns. They are Franklin Gun Shop, Franklin Gun Shop - HOME, and Game Fair, Game Fair Ltd. - Fine Sporting Goods, Fly Fishing, and Clothing. Both places deal with a lot of high end guns and are very knowledgeable. If you go to Franklin Gun Shop , talk to Brian Hassler.
