Thanks, has a few dings, I'm not sure of the history of it.

My father had it and I wish I knew where he got it. He is deceased. It's special because he had it, I have it, and my son will have it. Not that it is a rare gun or anything, but it is cool looking and shoots good.

I haven't shot it in years, it fired very well then, it should fire today. I am going to take it to the range next time I go, probably next weekend, and I will buy some rounds to put through it for fun. I need to get rid of some older 38 rounds for my revolver too.

I agree with db. Also, some gun shops as well. Most of those guys know there older guns. Especially, if they sell them.

It looks like a Iver Johnson, maybe you could play around on gunbroker and see if you can find one that looks like it.

Thanks for the info. i've tried a few places on the net.Was going to take it to the range gunsmith next.He had a shoulder harness for it but can't locate it.
