So a friend of mine just sold me his Beretta Cheetah model 85f! :hyper: It's a

single stack .380! he also gave 2 nice holsters to go with it! The gun has only been test fired and is in mint condition! I almost don't want to shoot it but I what the heck, I've got to right? I'm not sure yet what role this gun will play but right now I'm wearing it in a De Santis IWB holster and it is extremely comfortable! It could make a great summer gun!

Your carrying a gun that you have never shot? Better get out and shoot it to see if it really works with the ammo you choose. Good luck finding 380 ammo.

i have heard .380 ammo is hard to find, but this will be a gun that once comfortable with will mainly be a carry weapon, not a range target pistol? right? so the ammo wont be a huge problem after you become comfortable with he gun

just my thoughts?

The only thing harder to get than 380 ammo is the ever elusive 45 colt rounds. At least locally, you can get it off the internet all day long just have to pay for shipping. Let me see here. The site below has 380 ammo in stock shipped directly to ya house. No fmj but has plenty of hollow points.

Ammo, Ammunition, Rifle Ammunition, 9mm Ammo, Military Surplus

.380 is becoming more plentyful all the time. It's not back to $13 a box yet but I have found it well under $20.

Congrats on the pistol! Haven't fired that model but heard they are nice. While .380 hasn't been plentiful, it shouldn't be difficult to find a few boxes to become comfortable with the pistol.
