At first I thought He was talking about healthcare for massachussets, but it looks like he is going to support some sort of National Health Care.

He voted for the MA health plan, like Romney signed into law, but ran for that senate seat opposed to the US government run health care plan, and stated he would be the

vote that blocked it. Filibuster style. I haven't seen anything to the contrary on FOX

this evening, except that his two daughters are still available.

He is a very liberal republican, but less liberal than some. Certainly a heck of a lot less liberal than the communists currently running the democratic party. It's massachusettes, did you think a Ronald Reagan would get elected there? Not a perfect solution, just the best choice available. The alternative (not supporting him) was far, far worse.

Listening to that video, it sounds like he is interested in the states offering a plan like MA if they choose with incentives from the Fed Gov.

I am glad that his election has put the brakes on the current bill.

He is only slightly better than Coakley but he is better. I think that most Republicans will admit that there needs to be something done but just not the massive HC bill that the Dems were trying to force down our throats. He will just prevent the Dems from being able to do that.

He has always stated he is for HC reform. Just not this bill. I support some sort of insurance regulation, but not healthcare for all. Before my wife got her job teaching I was paying 105 bucks a week for family coverage. Mine was cheap from what I hear.

I hope you are right, but I think something terrible is still very likely going to get passed. The only way the government can save health care is to get the hell out of the way. Brown supports some kind of Govt health care, and any kind of Govt health care is Socialism. It doesnt matter if hes a Republican, if he supports Govt health care that makes him a Progressive Republican.

put everybody on high deductible plans with health savings accounts and ban all public advertising of non-over the counter meds.-- problem solved.

Will it happen, never. Even doctors agree with this. Tobacco advertising was banned, we can ban drug advertising to John Q. Public as well. This alone would save a huge amount of money.

Princess Nancy Pelosi said today that she doesn't have enough votes to pass any healthcare bill currently in the house. Brown caused enough of a shift in the attitude

to cause the dems to walk away, or so I heard on FOX this afternoon. Brown isn't your bad guy. He's a yankee republican in the bluest state. Give him a chance to prove himself. He has a long way to go before you can call a progressive.

When he voted for the Mass healthcare program, we in TN had one called Tenncare, remember? The big flop! It's one battle at a time and he just won one battle. It's a bit too early. There are 435 house seats up every two years and a

third of the senate up for grabs in 2010. That is a lot to battle over and it can be

a repeat of the Clinton screw up. I'd say support the Tea Party movement and/or

Republicans and keep winning battles. If this is done right Obama can be neutered.

The real progressives can be put out to pasture.
