Bought my first m1911.

M1911s have always been my favorite pistols since before i was able to buy handguns. This was my chance to get one and i took it, I love this gun already and i havent even shot it yet. Here are 3 pictures hopefully they arent too small. First step into a none poly pistol. Note the pictures are huge when you click them lol..

Looks good enjoy, I have a RIA never had an issuses with mine. It's my primary care weapon, thinking about one of the compacts next. Birthday coming next month maybe then.

Great choice for your 1st 1911. RIA's are excellent guns (regardless of what the Kimber crowd will tell ya ). Hope you enjoy it!

I always wanted one too. In fact, went to buy a Colt many moons ago, and the S&W rep talked me into buying the new Model 59 instead.

Finally bought a new Springfield last weekend. Haven't shot it yet either, but I will in the next few days.

You will be happy with it. I have one and 2 other brand 1911's. It becomes and addiction. Hope yours fires as good as mine.

Haha i hope so too, Anyone ever have a problem with the gun not wanting to feed ammo when it has 8rounds in it? For some reason mine wont chamber a round when its full. Hoping its not just me.

Could be the magazine - I'll be happy to let you use a Para, Wilson, or DW mag if you ever come out to shoot with Jon and I... we'll get to the bottom of it.

Nice pistol man. Run a few hundred rounds through it and that mag issue may work itself out.

Id love to come shoot with u and jon moody. End of the month ill be ready to rock lol. Well i shot it today and im amazed for a entry lvl 1911, Its super accurate put 100 rounds thru it today. I bought a chip mccormick magazine yesterday. I think this is my favorite gun ive owned so far, Now i gotta decide on what i wanna buy for carry. Either a compact 9 or a compact 1911. The magazines are getting better after 100 rounds. Anyone know the best place to buy wwb 100rounds around this area?
