I ain't as old as you! I was 8 1/2 years old back then, and couldn't care less about football. I loved playing football while growing up, but I didn't start following it until 1985 while I was stationed in Okinawa. I watched the re-broadcasts of the games and followed the Giants and Phil Sims to the Superbowl.

I'll cut you some slack there yungin...like you I loved the neighborhood pick up game...I actually stopped "following" the game after my father passed away in 1969...didn't really pick it back up until the 80's living in San Diego while in the Navy...left it again in 91, then picked it back up in 95 when I got divorced and discovered HOOTERS......my wife LOVES FOOTBALL...so now we have a 42" flat screen and home theater system...as long as i don't bad mouth the BRONCO's its all good...

I'm orignally from Kansas City, so I wouldn't be able to keep from bad-mouthing the Broncos. My wife likes football too. She got into it with me when I came back from Oki.
