Do you think the people of Nebraska and Louisiana who would benefit from their senator's bribery and extortion will vote them out of office? The people may just see them as taking care of their constituents. If the common man tried this, they would be arrested and put in jail.

I don't think the average constituent will benefit enough from the payoffs to offset the fallout. I could be wrong, but the majority of their constituents oppose this health care bill by a wide margin.

I'm hopeful anyway.
