Juvenile Deer Season

My nephew got another doe this afternoon. This is the juvenile only weekend and I guess the end of Tennessee deer season.

Here he is with his kill. Anybody else get one today?

My bot had a 6 pt walk within 75 yards. He said he couldn't see it.then we got rained out. Gonna try again after the rain stops today.

Why prey tell, is there a stick stuck through that deer's nose during a photography session? We were going to go out today, but no room in our two freezers. We'll let them walk till next year.

My young un didn't show an interest in going this weekend. He's been fighting a pretty rough cold for a while, so it is probably best he didn't go. Congratulations on the doe with the pierced nose.

That is how they dragged her out of the woods. I'd never seen that either.

My grandson and I had no luck this weekend...but, it was not for the lack of trying. Rain and windy conditions made for a difficult hunt.

Guess we'll try the varmints, this afternoon.
