I have a hand me down safe I was thinking of relining. I was going to use some indoor/outdoor carpet I picked up at Home Depot. I will attach the carpet with either spray adhesive or double sided tape.

Has anyone ever done this before? My main concern is that the carpet will hold in moisture.

Any other suggestions? Thanks guys.

plus about the truck bed liner, im sure if your safe was in a fire it would melt and get all over your guns. I would stick to felt or some kind of carpet that wouldn't melt (no poly-"anything") as far as moisture use the desiccant bags/packs.
