Hello,

I heard about this site from TNspeed. I used to post some there but not anymore. I am a sophomore at ETSU studying Computer Science. I have several gun a 16" Delton parts kit ar15, a Taurus 1911, a Ruger 22/45, and a Ruger Super Single Six. I think my next gun purchase will be Stevens 200 .308 then maybe a 12ga(gotta be ready for the zombies :)).

Welcome and how do you like the PT1911?

I love my pt1911. I haven't shot that many rounds with it probably somewhere around 500-100 and it has done fine. I had a SA GI spec for a couple years and I like this gun so much better. The SA must have had problems because it was jam at least once every other mag. The Tauras never has. Everybody said it would straighten out after awhile. Well, I shot around 1500 rounds through it and it never got better.... I wish I wouldn't have started out shooting big bore pistols instead of .22's. It defiantly taught me bad habits I still have to fight.
