I went to pick up a gun at gunrunners and during the background check I was the 10,009th ran this month.

And that would not even take into count any put on lay away....I know of at least two of those and I am sure there are many many others.

Now if only each of those guns sold would mean a new permit holder we really would be getting somewhere quick.

Wasnt it over a 1/4 million new permits last year mentioned in one of the threads? I hope there is even more issued this year but I also hope they get some help in that office.

Wife and I are both getting our HCP's this year. Will be buying at least one (hopefully 3) firearms this year. We'll be doing our part to keep the numbers going in the right direction!

When my stepdad had the gunshop at our house we used to keep up and let the customer know exactly what number they were for the year and remind them that tn gets 10 dollars a check.
