Looking for a throw on holster

Recommended Posts

I am trying to find a way I can carry my xdm with me when I take the dog out at ungodly hours of the morning. I usually wear shorts and a t-shirt so I won't have a belt for a normal style holster and the shorts aren't tight enough for me to stuff it in the waist. I've been trying to find a bandolier style holster for a semi-auto but haven't had any luck. I'm just looking for something I can throw over my shoulder right quick without any clumsy straps to mess with like a shoulder holster. Anyone out there have any suggestions?

Might be weird, but a belly band with the velcro sounds like what you need. That way you can keep the t-shirt over it, too. Maybe three seconds to take on or off.

Will be hand made and will take about four weeks. If you got a belt loop holster already then it should work with this setup I would think.

Mr. Williams...try this simple rig.

Take a belt, that you are already using for your carry holster (works best w/ a firearm retaining strap on the holster) and put your carry holster on the belt "crossdraw style" then, buckle the belt, and merely sling it over your neck and shoulder and walah! you now have a cheap "bandoleer"rig!

I have the same issue and I carry mine in the proverbial bianchi fanny(fudge)pack. Yes it's gay, but I'm comfotable enough with my manlyness to pull it off.

+1 on the fanny pack for a quick step outside the house. Just sling it over your shoulder and you'll look a little less ...

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
