Anyone have one of these yet? If so, what is the good, bad and ugly?

I like mine. It is an Adams conversion. It definitely keeps the receiver cooler and the bolt cleaner.

It's a novelty though. I've not had an issue with any of my DI rifles.

But a cool bit of gear none the less.

I have a LWRC and a POF, love shooting both of them. They do run cooler and cleaner, but as Mike said I've never had a problem with a DI setup either.

Thanks for the info. I never had a problem with the DI in mine either.

I like the idea of it running cleaner, so I don't view it as a novelty, but as a design improvement.

CMMG has a really great price on theirs right now....like $899 for a complete rifle and their stuff is typically top notch.

I've got a CMMG M4LEP. It's cool, clean, and it does what it's supposed to do. I haven't done a carbine class with it or anything, but for regular range use it is quite sufficient.

Yeah, I was amazed when I saw that price.

I agree it's more than just a novelty sigmtnman-this turns it into an AK, imo. Too bad they're all in 5.56-I'd want mine in 7.62x39, 6.5G, 6.8 SPC, or 5.45R, in that order.

Ammo is a big issue with the 6.5G, though.
