I'm another owner of a G27 and XD-40sc. Both are dependable and fun to shoot. I may be a little more accurate with the XD but the difference is small.

bought the XD9SC after shooting OhShoot's many moons ago. Loved it and seemed more accurate than my XD9 4" model. I purchased this little jewel at the Jan gun show in Knoxville because OhShoot and Suntzu could not give me a good reason not too. HOWEVER, i have yet to get it onto the range for testing. What is wrong with me??? It's been two weeks and it beckons me daily to take it out and shoot it. The old saying is true: "guns are like women, if you keep one long enough you are going to want to shoot it"...I'm just sayin----:D

I have had my XD-40 sub compact, bi-tone , for two weeks now. The more I shoot it the more impressed I am with it. Very accurate. No problem knocking over steel targets at 25yards. Groups very nicely on paper as well. Easy gun to maintain and very concealable with the 9 round magazine. It does have slight noticeable recoil but not excessive. I am very happy with this purchase.
