Fastest HCP approval?

I emailed Lisa Knight today(Tuesday at that time) not to ask about my status but just to make sure they had me in the system because of a possible mix-up when I was fingerprinted... I was printed on 12/30 and to my huge surprise she said I had been approved on 1/11!!!!! I had to read it 4 times to make sure I wasn't seeing things... That was only 13 days ago!!!! She says it should be here within 14 days.... Anyone else have theirs approved this fast?

Mine was in my mailbox exactly 3 weeks after I filed. My brother who filed on the same day got his exactly 90 days later. I think it's just a toss up.

Nope,

You must have gotten yours in there for the first batch of 10. Mine got in there In September 09 and I got my permit in December.

I think they have spead up the process and actually started to do what we call work. My boss now has his and recieved it all in less than 3 weeks.

Should be "You Bastards" as several of us have complained. I know they got a "talking to" from my representative and senator in my district per my letter I sent them.

man it took me almost 4 months to get mine filed in end of Jan and got it the end of April after several phone calls not sure what the hold up was

Just called. I was told it was issued today. I filed September 23? sometime that week. It's been aLONG time!

Not so fast. A buddy of mines has been told he was "downloaded" to the print farm on Jan 5th but had not been printed yet due to the "backup". He was "issued" sometime last month. If I were everyone on here I would get in touch with our representatives and complain like hell. You paid for it and you will be due to renew 4 years from your issue date not your recieve date. Your losing time and money. Lisa whoever she is doesn't want to give him any answers and she just tells him backed up. They need a new contractor is they can't do any better than this. I'm sending an email tomorrow. If was happenening to me I would go down to ron ramsey and bob corkers office and raise cane but I don't have a dog in this fight.

I fingerprinted on 11-25 and got mine on 1-8. Considering Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays I thought 44 days was pretty fast. The wife is fingerprinting this week, we will see how long hers takes.

Just informed that my permit was issued 01/26/10 I applied 01/08/10 should be here in a few days

My wife and I applied 15 Oct. We were notified by letter mid Nov that the manual fingerprint cards were inadequate. Quickly went the Cogent no cost route. We received our HCPs last week.

Got approved 9 days after application and received it a week after that. 16 days round trip. June/July 2009.

I had changed my voter registration info at the same time that I applied for mine. I received mine within 3 weeks. I figure the voter registration might have had something to do with it. A friend applied for his three weeks before me and didn't get his for two weeks after I received mine. I do believe there is a back-up happening now though ... HCP class enrollment is up. Squeaky wheel & grease story may apply.
