I kind of stumbled into this site. It looks like there is a lot of information and good discussions.

I am relatively new to the CCW world. I off road a lot and wanted something I could legally carry just to provide some measure of safety. I have seen several unsavory people out in the middle of nowhere and being able to have something with me at all times provides some peace of mind. Obviously it doesn't make up for having some sense, but if I can't get out of a situation, I have adequate defense.

I have an FNP-9, which I am still breaking in. So far, I have had a couple failures to feed, but I think I can get that resolved. Otherwise, it shoots tight groups, and is pretty easy to handle.

What I really need is some range time.

I'm looking forward to the various topics and conversations here.
