Sorry! Lisa Knight (not sure why I made her Irish but hey).

I had written a letter to my local representative and to a senator recently about how you can never get ahold of anyone at the Department of Labor when checking on your unemployment claims. I also mentioned in the letter about the DOS and the need for more people and for them to get some way to speed it up. I doubt my letter had anything to do with it but who knows. I just sent the leter a couple days ago. I do know that right after I sent out the letter in the mail and emailed them I got almost immediate response from the Department of Labor.

This excites me. I completed my fingerprinting on December 17th. I just emailed Ms. Knight and am hoping to hear back from her sometime today. Maybe mine is already approved as well.

EDIT: Heard back from her and all I got was you have submitted everything and please allow 90 days.

Could be that unless you have a special problem, Lisa is tiring of emails, since her address is not even listed on site any more.

Hmmm .... I got my application and prints done about the same time last month. Maybe I'll have my permit quicker than I thought!
