50 BEOWULF

50 action express magnum

new to 50 cal thinking about buying a 50 cal beowulf trying to find out more about the ammo are these two rounds the same? Looking at the uppers only any buying tips as far as configuration. one more question what is a Beo Omu rifle ? thanks appreciate any answers thanks

Do you mean 'BEOOMU'?

If so, that's the Model number for a Alexander Arms .50 Beowulf upper.

maybe that's why my searches returned foreign junk

no .50Beowulf and .50AE are very different. .50Beowulf is a cartridge designed to be fired in AR-15. .50AE is commonly chambered in Desert Eagle, its a pistol caliber as the Beowulf is a rifle round, similar to .45/70 but semi-rimmed and with a .50cal bullet.

sounds like you are looking for a AR upper?

did you see the single shot bolt action AR upper in .50BMG?
