Boss' HCP issued on Dec 31.

Recommended Posts

Was sent to the print farm on that day. He has another buddy he took the class with and got his in the mail Saturday. Anyone elses issued around that time frame? He is anxious and is fired up to get it understandably. I told him I would ask on here and see.

My GF applied for her HCP on 11/19/09 and still has yet to recieve anything. Even sending emails and calls to Lisa Knight has only gotten the response of "We have 90 days to issue". But back 2 years ago when I got mine I applied on June 6 and recieved it on Aug 4

I would tell him to be patient. Although it should be in within the next day or two.

Being sent to the print farm, doesn't mean it was printed that day and/or that it will be mailed the same day as printed.

I understand everyone wanting their HCPs ASAP, but it seems that even a small amount of patience has been in very short order lately.

It's almost anti-climatic since they took restaurants away from us. :D

Remember, the 31st was essentially a national holiday and the 1st definitely was so nothing happened at the printer on either of those days. So we are now looking at 1/4 as being the first day it could have been printed. It is now 1/11 so only 4 business days have passed. It should be to him by the end of next week I would imagine as that would be 10 business days.

Relax. Back when I got mine it took roughly 45 days start to finish.

Yea it's been years since I got mine as well. Things happened much quicker then due to the lack of volume. I smacked him and told him to relax a bit. He can't shoot straight anyway. Shot my PVC target frame in half with his airweight.

Yeah...been a while for me too, but it does seem like it took a long time. Also had to drive from Parsons to Nashville (110 miles or so) to get fingerprinted (DOS did them then) because of the backlog to "get an appointment to apply" in Jackson at the time.

No someone sends the paper work off on the 1st and wonder if they should call the 15th and ask where it is? lol

Oh...and surely he is going to build you a new target frame, right? :screwy:

He's my boss so I didn't ask him to. Enjoy making fun of him at work. Oneof our drivers asked hi if he hunted and I just started laughing. He said what's so funny? I said you have to be able to shoot straight to hunt. Hahahhhaaa
