has anyone been to the gun mart on charlotte pk? how is their selection and prices.?

Pretty small selection, but were quite fair on their prices. I went in about a month ago and the guy running the place was jawing with a few guys that were just hanging around. When he saw me walk in he immediately dropped

the conversation and asked if I needed help. I didn't give him any business that day, but I wouldn't hesitate to in the future.

He's near the Nashville West shopping center, just east of it on Charlotte. They are open 8:30 to 5:30 M-F and until 12 on Saturday IIRC.

That's the old Gun Mart sign that's still up. It's in the same parking lot as Hillwood Liquors. It's Nashville Sporting Arms and the hours are 10-5 M-F and 10-4 on Sat. He's got a decent selection for a small store, better than some others around town I've been in and for the most part fair prices. He didn't mark up prices on ammo when it was hard to get. Case in point, when I was at the 2nd Amendment event at Outpost they had Magtec .380 at $29.99/ box of 50. He had a few boxes of the same ammo at $19.99. While it doesn't have the selection or do the volume of a G&L, I've gotten most of my guns there over the past few years. He may not have everything, but generally seems to have what I want.

I bought my SA ultra compact .45 acp from him several years ago, and he was much more resonable than the ones at the Nashville gun show that saturday!

In fact, I left the gun show and drove to his old store, near Davidson road and purchased the pistol from him, just because he was cheaper than any SA compacts at the gun show!!! Bought ammo there too, and it was also priced fairly reasonable. That ought to tell you something about his prices. FWIW
