So i bought a DW almost a week ago.Brought it home and couldnt wait to shoot it.The other day i took the gun to the range. Out shot my dads SA Loaded Full size.Shot 140 rounds with no jams or hiccups.I didnt even take it apart.I just went out and shot it.BTW its a DW CBOB. So now i want another one for carry.Does anyone know where i can bid on one or just find a dealer (br&m store or online) to purchase a second one?

You're lucky to have found the one you have. I also have a CBOB. The more you shoot it, the more you're going to like it. Great gun.

Yes you are lucky to have found one! I'm still looking for one. Have been for weeks. If anyone knows where to get one let me know also. I'm looking for CBOB in .45 ACP

It's a CBOB. Why not carry it? It's not like it's a collectable or anything.

You should look for a 2009 Valor... they are Excellent pistols... I can get about the same groups at 25 yards with mine as my other semi custom 1911's...

Dave Severns did a shootout with a few 1911's .. using a Ranson rest and the Valor did fantastic..

Dan Wesson Valor 1.36“ average 5 shot groups at 25 yards..

Win White Box (WWB);

Rem Ball (REM),

LSWC hand loads (LSWC).

Try to find a 2009 model. DW's pricing is going up in 2010. Some model changes too. CBOB is dead, except in the People's Republic of Kalifornia.

If you type in dan wesson bobtail on the opening page search window, there are four on there for sale as of 0700 hrs.
