Why would you want a $200 chinese 1911? If someone gave me one I would throw it in the garbage. I have no interest in anything made in china, but it is hard not to buy things made in china. I try not to buy things made there, but sometimes it's unavoidable.

I know it's nearly impossible to avoid purchasing Chinese goods, but the idea of owning a gun made by near-slave labor seems especially malicious and wrong.

I am glad there is atleast afew others who feel the same about this as I do

Let me just throw this out there as food for thought:

Countries in order of GDP

1. United States - 17.9 Trillion Dollars

2. Japan - 4.9 Trillion

3. China - 4.3 Trillion

By the way, everyone who is saying that they wouldn't own a Chinese firearm needs to check their inventory for a Norinco AK and/or SKS. There sure are a lot of 'em owned by people on this board, me included.

Most Americans are in denial. They don’t care where something is made as long as it is cheap.

The Chinese didn’t do anything to us; we did this to ourselves. We can stop it at any time, but it looks like it will have to get a lot worse before we have everyone’s attention.

War with China is not a real big concern. MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) is in force and will be until technology is developed that can neutralize the threat of ballistic submarines and ICBM’s. (The Strategic Defense initiative)

China (Japan, India, Etc) doesn’t want a war with us. They just want a good economy. We seem more than willing to turn our backs on our own economy. We buy their stuff made by laborers working under terrible conditions and we even turn a blind eye to their obvious patent infringements against U.S and other countries manufacturers.

We won’t pay for this our children and Grandchildren will. And if some of you are still alive they may look you in the eye and ask “How could you have been so ignorant?â€

i tough that guns are just tools. same like any other tools

so what it makes difference to have near-slave labor making 95% of stuff in U.S. households.

at least we could get a chipper guns.

i didn't say i would support it, i just say it would be cool,

because it would bring down overpriced US made guns down

and just to add ,i have Mac tools in my garage. my electronic is mostly made in Japan. i buy U.S. ,European, Japanese and Korean.

only few things i own, that i couldn't find other than made in china.

even than, that stuff i buy only super cheap.

my money don't go to chins

and if U.S. alow Chinese made guns.......that would be kind of nice.

a copy of 1911 kimber for 200$:chill:

A copy of a Kimber???? Who wants that? You can already buy cheap knock offs of 1911’s; they are all over the place. They are junk and putting Kimbers name on the side of them won’t change that. But they aren’t $200 anymore. They are $500 and they are selling because they are cheap.

You can buy a Chinese copy of a Leupold scope, EOtech sight, or a set of Callaway golf clubs. They are not marketed to people that want a cheap alternative; they are being sold by criminals that try to pass them off as the real deal.

I've just now read through this, and I'm going to decline posting an opinion on anything written here and pass on some wise words from an old English teacher of mine...

"First you must be capable of forming valid sentences and paragraphs... only then can you form valid opinions and arguments."

I don't mind Strecelvina struggling with English. I understand it is not his first language. He is getting his thoughts across.
