Gotta fix a clogged drain in the kitchen sink. It's past the trap and the chemical un-cloggers aren't cutting it so I'll be making a run to Lowe's for a snake or something similar. Other than that I'll be staying inside playing L4D2 or TF2 depending on mood.

I'm making another holster, surfing the web, and expecting the kids to ask me to go outside with them about any time now.

I've been thinking about playing around with making a holster and maybe a belt. If you're working with leather, where do you get your materials and tools?

Tandy Leather in Nashville, on Nolensville Road. If they ain't got it, you don't need it. The have a pretty good sale going on right now as well. Their 8-9 oz double shoulders are 53% off, $2.99 per sq ft. I think, and they have a coupon in their sale paper for 50% off any one item excluding leather.

I participated in some idiot-fun this morning, after getting my wife and I some coffee at the local coffee shop, by doing some doughnuts in the snow in my Dodge dually. My neighbors think that I'm a complete idiot, but their kids loved it (watched from the front porch of their parents' house). Besides that - I'm not doing anything... looking over Gunbroker as usual, trying to find something interesting, and thinking about a couple of different *truck* guns/throwarounds, etc.

You purchase coffee??? Can't hide money. I'm sleeping and getting prepared to work all night in the cold again.

.............and you need another gun Moody.

Went to the gun show today. Wondered around for a couple hours, didn't buy a damn thing. Right now, on the boat drinking with Skunkslayer.

our two year old grandson currently under my roof was playing with scissors earlier, I scolded him and gave him a sharp pencil instead.

Good job, no kid show grow up without a piece of lead that breaks off and gets stuck in their body and can be seen forever...I have a piece of lead in my right palm of my hand!

thats funny. I carried a piece of lead pencil in my left thumb for about twenty years. I was stabbed with it by our babysitter when I was a little kid. Finally festered and came out one day.

I'm enjoying the snow. Doing a little picking up around the house. Going to the movies with my girlfriend later. Probably going to post at least one gun for sale (out of four I've identified as "redundant and I don't really shoot them anymore anyway").

If one of them just happens to be a Savage 12FV in .223 caliber, shoot me a PM...cause I'm in the market for one.

Have you ever accidentally set off a dry chemical fire extinguisher in the back of a work van? Unless something is on fire, I wouldn't recommend it. :wall:

Long story short, I've had my work truck in my shop, and spent most of the afternoon removing everything from it (tools, parts, etc...) and vacuuming out fire extinguisher powder.

Nope. Closest to that would be the .308 vz.24 (with a few hundred rounds of .308) I plan to sell.
