I am very new to the world of 1911's. I have an HK 45C that I do not shoot so I listed it for trade on another forum, for the right gun. I was really looking for a Dan Wesson CBOB or Kimber. His Wilson Combat is unfired in box. My HK is pretty much the same. I have fired 50 rounds. Both guns come with all paper work and boxes. I have never held a Wilson Combat. Is this going to be a range only gun or is it carriable. I am going to go to G&L tomorrow to see if they have one so I can get a feel for it.

It's a Wilson Combat KZ45

Here are some pics he sent me. Thanks for the advise.

Absolutely would not make that trade. The KZ45 is Wilson's oddball mutant polymer 1911... thing... that went absolutely nowhere and never gained any sort of following. Your HK45C is a much better firearm than that.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I did not know much about the gun. I guess I will keep on searching for a trade. I hate when you list what you want for trade and people offer whatever they have. I guy sent me an email asking if I would do an even trade for his Glock 30.

We have several KZ guns if you want to handle them (mostly used). But in all honesty, keep the HK.

I bought the HK the day I was looking for a Dan Wesson CBOB. My patients got the best of me and I bought the HK. Last weekend I saw you had a CBOB in stock in .45. you know if it's still there ?

Pretty sure we still have it. Think we sold our 10mm.

Tempted to come up tomorrow and just trading in the 45c. I shot it once at the range after I bought it a few weeks ago. I like the HK but I have several, that Dan Wesson just does something for me.

Guns and Leather in Greenbrier has a beautiful DW CBOB in 10mm for $880 right now. If it was in .45acp it would be on my hip right now.Saw it today about 2 hrs ago.
