I got my boys a Marlin 60 w/ scope for X-mas to share when we go to the range. My 11 year old got a Crossman 1,000 FPS pellet w/ a scope fo his birthday and he's pretty darn good shot. I'm sure they will have a blast with the .22. He said if he can wear ear plugs and muffs, he would try my AR. I will be impressed if he does at tht age.

I'd recommend the Youth class at Range USA...since I see yer from 'round these parts.

This is definitely part of the plan. First I want to teach them the rules at home and go over the parts and functions. Then I will go from there.
