It finally came today. was told it released from the print farm on the 29th and to expect 10 business days . well, what do ya know its here!!!!!

registered with DMV on 11/12 so overall, excluding my impaitience, it wasn't all that bad. just frustrating dealing with the governmnet on anything!!!

now only four years before i have to deal with this again!!!!

You know, it was posted somewhere on here that they expected to issue something like 65,000 permits in the last few weeks of december. With all the people who were apparently issued on 12/18, that now doesn't seem so ridiculous. Every person I have heard of that applied before the end of November seems to have been issued on that date.

Congrats , I turned my paperwork in on 11/23 , called them the other day and they said it printed on 12/23 mailed on 1/6 and still have not recv'd mine yet...maybe sometime this week tho...got my fingers crossed

More than likely went to the print farm on the 6th sat there for about 10 days and then they mailed it out then it will take another two-ten days to receive it.

My HCP came today in the mail....I took the HCP course 12/15/09 went to DMV 12/17/09 printed the same day.....Got it today 1/20/10....My wife went and did everything on the same days hers hasn't came yet maybe tomorrow.

Man, it doesn't make any sense how the timeline goes. My wife submitted her form and prints on 11/25. She called two weeks ago and was told it was issued on 12/22 and should be there at any time. She finally called yesterday (we've had issues with our not too bright mailman) and was told it was mailed on the 12th. Well, it came today with postmark date of 12/19!

So it's strange why some take longer than others. I submitted for mine on 6/6 and got it on 7/2.

Mine came today! YAAAAAAAAAAY! I am so super excited. I applied on 11/19/09 it was issued on 1/5/2010 and postmarked 1/19/10. There is obviously no rhyme or reason to their time frame. Good luck to those of you waiting and congrats to those of you that have received.

YES CONGRATS:D.....But I would mark 3 1/2 years from date on permit to apply for renewal, no sense waiting until last minute. And dont forget the RESPONSIBILITY that goes with.
