Wall mounted shotgun lock

I'm pretty sure that we've talked about these on here before, but a search didn't turn up anything for me, and a google search isn't finding me what I'm looking for. Maybe I'm not searching for the right key words.

What I'm looking for is a gun lock that I can mount to the wall/bed/night stand/dresser (you get the idea). I know I've seen them before, but I'd like to have one that locks over the trigger guard and reciever and not inside the trigger guard. This would allow me to leave the shotgun loaded while in the lock. Can any of you guys help me out here?

Well.....not exactly. I've found some like those, but I'm looking for something that locks around the trigger guard. Something that doesn't lock thru the trigger guard so that I can lock the gun up and leave it loaded. Those lock around the barrel, and the one in the squad car only has a guard around each side of the trigger.

That's the very one I was thinking about! :)

Not me. This is so aggravating.......However, I did run across this on my searches in case anyone is in the same boat that I am in. Having to knock out an interior wall and frame up around a long gun safe.

These are similar, but they lock thru the trigger guard and the manufcturer warns against locking loaded guns in these.....and i can see why.

What about the Life Jacket thing for shotguns?

I didn't even see those on that site. Question though, website states, "Completely envelops the action and its specially designed "chamber lock" plugs right in to the chamber for absolute protection". With this chamber lock, can you have one in the chamber and still have it locked so that if someone pulls the trigger it won't discharge?....If only they had one for the shotty like they do for the AR's, I'd order one tonight.

I'd say no. I'm reading this that it has a protrusion that goes into the ejection port of the shotgun and that is what renders it safe.
